Moonworld – Exchange Policy

  1. Policy Posting
    This policy is clearly posted at all cash registers, store entrances, and on product pages (for online sales). A written copy is available upon request.

  2. Exchanges Only

    • We do not issue cash or credit card refunds.

    • Exchanges only are accepted within 30 days of purchase. 

      • Items must be unused, unworn, and in original condition, with proof of purchase.

      • If the exchanged item is of greater value, the customer pays the difference. If of lesser value, the balance will be issued as store credit.

       

  3. Sale or Final-Sale Items

    • “Sale” or “as-is” items are not eligible for exchange unless required by law (e.g., defective merchandise).

  4. If This Policy Was Not Properly Posted
    In the event this exchange-only policy was not properly posted, New York law requires us to accept returns of unused, undamaged items within 30 days of purchase and provide a refund in cash or credit, at the buyer’s choice.

  5. Online Purchases
    For orders placed online (as of August 7, 2025), this exchange-only policy is displayed next to product details or before checkout, in compliance with NY law.

    • Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs related to exchanging an item (to and from our facility).

    • We recommend using a trackable shipping service; we are not responsible for items lost in transit.

    • In the case of defective or incorrect merchandise, we will cover the cost of shipping for the exchange.
